Privacy Policy
AtlasHue is a Mac app for making colored maps, made by Richard Haddock. The short version: it collects nothing, and nothing leaves your Mac unless you choose to send it.
What AtlasHue collects
Nothing. AtlasHue has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it doesn't connect to the internet. The maps, country data and county data it uses are built into the app.
Your maps and files
The maps you make — colors, titles, pins, logos and any data you import or paste — are saved only in the files you choose to save, on your Mac or wherever you store them (for example iCloud Drive). We never receive them.
AtlasHue runs in Apple's App Sandbox, so it can only open and save files you pick yourself.
Feedback emails
“Send feedback” opens your own email app with a message addressed to us. The message includes the AtlasHue and macOS version numbers so we can understand the problem. Nothing is sent unless you send that email yourself.
If you do, we use your email address and message only to reply and to improve AtlasHue, and we don't share them with anyone.
Crash reports
If you've chosen in macOS settings to share crash data with app developers, Apple may give us anonymous crash reports for AtlasHue. These don't identify you, and we use them only to fix bugs. You can change this in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
This website
atlashue.app has no cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. Like any website, its hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability; we don't use them to identify visitors.
Children
AtlasHue doesn't collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its date. If AtlasHue ever starts collecting information, we'll say so here and in the App Store listing before it does.
